PP-110 Proximity EM reader / Mifare contactless reader

 Overview

PP-110 is a proximity reader which reads EM compatible 125 KHz/ASK contactless card/keytag etc. then send out some standard data
format, such as Wiegand,RS-232C,RS-485, ABA,USB etc. for ID collection. The users may select the suitable models for connecting to
dedicated controller or PC for various applications.
The LED will turn red when power is applied, the red LED will flash green for a while and the buzzer beeps simultaneously when
user presents the proximity card.
PP-110Mn is designed in accordance with ISO14443 type A standard to read or write the contactless card. This smart card reader
utilizes Mifare® technology to read the memory cards, the advanced system to reduce the risk of tampered data or duplicated
cards.
PP-110/M2 Mifare®Reader/Writer with contactless smart cards are mostly applied in stored value or data applications, such
as in access control, vending, toll road, ticketing, bank card, transit card, ID card, phone card, and various prepaid cards.

 Installation guide

1. Please select a suitable installation position with appropriate height to mount the reader. At first, marking the hole position on the
back plate.
2. Drill a 10 mm hole cavity on the wall for passing the cable.
3. Drill two 5 mm holes for fixing the reader body on the wall with provided screws.
4. Put the cable thru 10 mm hole cavity & and central hole of the reader body, then wiring correctly to the controller and power supply,
and finally put the cover firmly to meet the reader body.
5. After completing the installation, the LED will turn red when the power is applied. After, the red LED will flash green for a while and
the buzzer beeps simultaneously when user presenting the proximity card.
6. For signal transmission, a shielding cable connecting to the controller will reduce the interferences from the external. .
7. Maximum transmission distance: RS-485 (1,200 m), RS-232C (50 feet), Wiegand (150 m)...etc. Please judge the cable length due
to different standard.
